Brian H. Dunn

Mr. Dunn is the managing partner of the Kansas City office. He began his legal career in 1982 and shortly thereafter developed an expertise in ERISA. He has been a key note speaker at various Employee Benefits and ERISA conferences. As the chair of the firm's ERISA/Employee Benefits Group, he represents multiemployer groups and single employers with health & welfare, pension, §401(k) and non-qualified plans. He also chairs the firm's Employment Law Group which advises clients on personnel handbooks as well as general employment rights issues.







Ronald L. Holt

Mr. Holt brings 26 years of experience in a broad range of commercial and general litigation matters in various industries in the Kansas City metropolitan area and throughout the nation, including 15 years of experience in representing institutions of higher learning in litigation, regulatory matters and business transactions. Holt served a two-year clerkship with the late United States District Judge Russell G. Clark before entering private practice. He has served as lead counsel on commercial, banking, antitrust, securities, environmental, employment, insurance and higher education litigation matters, including complex commercial cases, and he has successfully prosecuted and defended substantial claims in such matters. Active in representing for-profit postsecondary institutions around the nation, Mr. Holt is a member of the Career College Association headquartered in Washington, D.C., where he serves on its Legislative Advisory Council and chairs its Litigation Committee.

Thomas G. Stoll

Mr. Stoll has an extensive commercial law practice with an emphasis on banking and debtor/creditor law. He represents a number of banks and other financial institutions in the Kansas City metropolitan area and throughout Missouri and Kansas. He advises banking clients on all aspects of banking law including regulatory issues, loan documentation, loan enforcement and bankruptcy matters. Mr. Stoll also has an active probate and corporate practice and has been a frequent speaker at educational seminars covering a variety of topics. Mr. Stoll is a partner with the Kansas City office.

Sparked by a desire to help injured parties pursue their claims for compensation, he joined a smaller law firm in Overland Park in 2007.

He has over 22 years experience in public and private school settings having served as an officer, and on the Board of Trustees of several colleges and educational institutions. His practice centers on accreditation, operations, regulatory, compliance and employment issues faced by colleges, universities and related businesses. He has counseled higher education institutions of all sizes and types on issues with the U.S. Department of Education, various state higher education coordinating boards and regional, national and programmatic accrediting agencies. He has served as peer evaluator and accreditation team member for multiple accrediting agencies. Additionally, he frequently provides related legal commentary on NBC television, CNN and CBS radio.
